BIO

Francesca SignorinoFrancesca began to create handmade jewelry at a young age, from collecting rocks to reading jewelry books with her Grandmother; she has continued this passion to the present day.  Francesca received her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, with a combined focus on large sculpture and fashion.  In addition, she obtained a Graduate Gemologist Degree from the Gemological Institute of America in Santa Monica, California.

Upon graduation, Francesca apprenticed with a Master Goldsmith for four years and began an independent jewelry appraisal business.  She then moved on to work for Trabert and Hoeffer Jewels in Chicago's Gold Coast for five years.  Looking for more growth, she took a position as an Assistant Jewelry Buyer/Merchandising Manager for C.D.Peacock in Chicago.  Somehow she was still missing her creative drive in life and left the corporate world to start Francesca Signorino Designs.

She has done workshops for the Art Institute of Chicago, and is a member of the Womens Jewelry Association and the Chicago Fashion Foundation.

Francesca Signorino Designs have quickly caught on with audiences in New York, Miami, and her native Chicago.

She is inspired by nature, architecture and the changing world around us.  Francesca is motivated by her love of the Fine Arts as well as a strong fashion sense, which she attributes to her late Father.  None of this would be possible without the loving help and support of her Mother.
